Attack is PEARL iZUMi's performance mid-tier: versatile, durable pieces tuned for high-mileage training rather than pure racing. The women's line is the broadest in the range, covering jerseys from sleeveless to thermal long sleeve, shorts and bibs in short, capri, and 21 inch crop lengths, tights, four jacket weights, gloves, and road shoes. See the full range in Attack.
The tiers step up fit and fabric. Quest is the value-focused everyday line with a more forgiving cut and the SELECT Levitate™ chamois. Attack is the performance mid-tier with balanced compression and the ELITE Levitate™ chamois. PRO is the race tier, with the most advanced fabrics and the closest fit. All three share the same core construction quality.
The ELITE Levitate™ chamois, a dual-density pad built for high-mileage training. It sits between SELECT for everyday comfort and PRO for race and endurance days, and it is shaped specifically for women. Our Chamois Guide breaks down how the densities differ.
Air is the lightest, most breathable construction in the Attack line, built for hot weather and hard efforts. Standard Attack pieces are the year-round option with a bit more substance. Both share the women's-specific fit and the same chamois platform on the bottoms, so you can mix them within one kit.
Length and upper are separate decisions. Bibs remove waistband pressure and keep the chamois centered on long rides, while shorts are simpler for quick changes. For length, standard shorts suit warm weather, capris and the 21 inch crop add coverage for cool mornings and give more leg support without going to full tights. The Shorts & Bibs Guide covers the trade-offs.
Close and smooth, with minimal flap at speed, but not the second-skin compression of a race jersey. Shoulders should lie flat, sleeves should stay put, and the rear hem should still cover the pockets when they are loaded. If you want more ease, the Quest line runs more relaxed. See the Jersey Guide for how the fits compare.
Match it to what you are protecting against. The Barrier jacket is the packable wind shell for chill and fast descents. The WxB is the waterproof option for sustained rain. The Hybrid blends wind protection with breathability, and the AmFIB® Lite adds insulation for cold. The Outerwear Guide walks through the decision.
