Winter Cycling Gloves

Cold air. Wet roads. Numb hands are not an option. Our winter cycling gloves pair insulated warmth with real ride breathability—windproof and waterproof cycling gloves that keep fingers working on descents, in sleet, and through pre-dawn starts. Function first, so control never slips.

Pick Your Protection

Thermal (dry cold): fleece-lined backs for steady warmth with bar feel—great for fast, dry winter miles.

Softshell / windproof: blocks chill on exposed roads and long descents while letting heat escape.

Waterproof insulated: seam-sealed shells that keep hands warm in rain, slush, and wheel spray.

Lobster / split-finger: maximizes warmth by pairing fingers—clutch for deep-cold days.

Temperature Guide

45–55°F (7–13°C): light thermal full-finger; add a thin liner if you run cold.

35–45°F (2–7°C): insulated softshell; vent on climbs, seal on descents.

25–35°F (-4–2°C): waterproof insulated gloves; consider split-finger for extra warmth.

Below 25°F (-4°C): max-insulated or lobster gloves + thin liner; keep core warm to keep hands warm.

Fit & Sizing

Snug without pinch; fingers to the tips with minimal palm bunching; cuffs that seal under or over your jacket sleeve. If between sizes, check the Size & Fit Guide.

FAQ

Are waterproof gloves breathable?
Yes—ride-breathable membranes balance heat and storm protection. Open vents on climbs and close for descents to manage inside/out moisture.

Glove or glove + liner?
Liners add warmth and sweat management without bulk. Use a liner in dry cold; switch to waterproof insulated gloves when it’s wet.

Hands still getting cold?
Warm your core and feet first. Add men’s socks / women’s socks and seal footwear with men’s shoe covers / women’s shoe covers to keep heat from bleeding out.

How should I care for winter gloves?
Close fasteners, wash cold, skip fabric softener, and air-dry to preserve insulation, stretch, and DWR performance.

Finish the System

Pair gloves with a wicking base and a weather shell up top—see men’s jackets & vests / women’s jackets & vests—and add full rain coverage from Men’s Wet Weather or Women’s Wet Weather. Gear that works so well, it disappears.
