Women's X-Alp Summit MTB Shoes
Women's X-Alp Summit MTB Shoes
Named "Best Bikepacking MTB Shoe" by Gear Patrol
The Women's X-Alp Summit is built for riders who refuse to let the terrain define the ride. Whether tackling technical singletrack, linking remote gravel roads, or setting out on multi-day bikepacking adventures, this mountain bike shoe delivers efficient power transfer and dependable traction when the ride continues on foot.
A lightweight, seamless upper provides breathable comfort and a secure fit for long days of mountain biking, gravel riding, and backcountry exploration. The BOA® Fit System, featuring an L6 dial, delivers a micro-adjustable, precision fit, while an independent forefoot strap fine-tunes support for lasting comfort across changing terrain.
A stiff composite sole efficiently transfers power to the pedals, while the Vibram® outsole with aggressive tread delivers exceptional grip and confident footing on hike-a-bike sections, rocky scrambles, and trailhead stops. Reinforced toe protection stands up to rocks, roots, and debris, while a water-resistant upper helps shed mud and moisture when conditions change. Built for the ride and everything beyond it, the X-Alp Summit is a performance mountain bike shoe ready wherever the trail leads.

SHOE CARE AND MAINTENANCE: Clean mud off with a damp sponge and then stuff the inside of the shoes with paper to help absorb moisture and maintain shape. Never clean shoes in a washing machine. Keep the outsole clean by scrubbing with a soft brush when needed. Air dry at room temperature. Do not dry the shoes by a fire, radiator or other heat source. Do not leave them in your car on a hot day. Extreme, direct heat can cause the materials to dry out or crack. This will damage your shoes and void your warranty.

Small Toe Box
"Super narrow and small toe box, be aware. My big toe was hitting the side wall of the toe box immediately when putting my foot in. Putting pressure on it or clipping in only exasperated that. I am returning for a larger size in hopes this helps but currently would recommend sizing up."
Is Good Shoe
"I like."
Solid shoe
"These shoes are more firm than I like, for the riding I do. My big toes hurt after a ride, I am hoping they will get broke in before to long."
did not fit
"nice looking but did not fit. easy return for exchange"
Nice fitting supportive shoe
"I had been wearing road bike shoes for years and decided I needed something more comfortable and a shoe that was more stable when I was off the bike walking. I bought these online and cycled with them today and was very pleased that they’re really comfortable. I have a normal width foot with a high arch and these worked great. I originally ordered the 41 and had to exchange for the size 40, which is a US size 8."
Great shoe
"More comfortable to walk in than my road bike shoes. Stays on pedals well."
Comfortable and easy to use
"This is my first part of lipless shoes and I am very happy w them - comfortable to walk in as well as ride in."
I no longer trust PEARL iZUMi.
"I purchased a pair of Women's X-Alp Summit MTB Shoes Order Number #476199 on June 9th, based on their strong promise of 2-day shipping — something they repeatedly advertised and even confirmed through the website chat. I was told the shoes would arrive between Wednesday and Thursday of that same week. However, after completing my purchase and checking the tracking number, FEDEX tracking number: 463139532188 I found out the shoes were scheduled to arrive seven days later, on Tuesday — one day after I had already left the US. During checkout, I had made it clear that the shipping address was in Miami, but I do not live there. I sent multiple emails to info@pearlizumi.com and messages through their website to let them know the delay meant I wouldn't be able to receive the package. Unfortunately, no one ever replied. I never got the shoes, and I paid $176. 55 for them. As a cyclist who has used PEARL iZUMi for years, this experience has been deeply disappointing. The lack of response and failure to honour their shipping guarantee has made me lose trust in the brand. Sadly, this will be my last purchase from them. How does PEARL iZUMi plan to resolve this situation?"
Comfort and durability for the adventurous rider
"I love these. They are very comfortable and durable. I've put them through a lot living in the SW in techy redrock country. Excellent grip when off the bike--making them great for all day bike adventures and stopping to enjoy the view. I ride about 3 times a week. I got one pair, and they were still going strong but I invested in a second pair to I could rotate them. When these wear out someday, I plan to buy another pair."
