USE SIMPLE DETERGENTS WITH NO ADDITIVES Never use detergents with fabric softeners, perfumes or any additive type product. The general rule of thumb is the simpler the better. Many detergents with additives leave "surfactants" behind on a fabric's fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Typically the best detergents to use will have "Clear" or "Free" in their names. Don't pour the detergent directly onto the clothing, put it in the washer first, when you start the water. If something is not functionally working, but is not dirty, try rinsing it twice in warm to hot water. This will help get rid of the harmful surfactants. READ THE CONTENT CARE LABEL: On the inside of your garment, or on the hangcard, there are instructions for the care of that individual piece. On garments this will be on a side seam or back seam label. Follow those directions. On finer fabrics, use a "Gentle" cycle. Close all zippers, attach "hook and loop" closures on gloves YOU CAN USE THE DRYER, CAREFULLY: If you use a dryer be sure to use a lower / warm heat setting (Do NOT use a commercial dryer or a "Hot" setting). This will often restore the fabric and help the water and wind repellent qualities. If in doubt, hang the clothing to dry.

perfect fit! love the neon pink (true to size fit)

"I love to buy jerseys in bright colors, and fiery coral is perfect. I'm a small/medium in cycling jerseys, but I was really confused because reviews were telling me to size up 1-2 sizes. I'm 5'3" and 125-135 lbs. But the Medium fit perfectly...? In fact I can fit something under this easily. My mom even tried it on and she's a similar build and it fit her perfectly. I'm guessing it comes down to preference. If you like jerseys a little big and not as form fitting, then sizing up might not be a bad idea. But I'm a small in Rapha, a medium in Pearl Izumi short sleeve, and also a medium in the long sleeve. I was so close to buying a large and I'm glad I didn't."

This is just okay

"I used to wear M, but on this one, I ordered L size, on the chest area as I expected, not too tight, and I took the risk on the bottom part, a bit loose, plus it doesn't have a wide gripping area"

— Fita H. (5/5)

way too small, and it was a large....

"Seems like a nice top, but even though I ordered a size larger (I know cycling jerseys run tight) I could still barely put it on. Maybe a 2XL? But Since I can't return it I'll never know."

— Debra M. (5/5)

It’s bright

"Was looking for a standout color for evening rides along our suburban streets, and this is perfect. Nice and cozy but it does run a bit small. I ordered up to a large and I’m glad I did."

— Martha B. (4/5)

Attractive soft color & very form-fitting

"The sleeves are tighter than I expected. It's very form-fitting, such that in cooler weather I wear a thin base layer underneath. I purchased this Women's Attack Jersey in size Medium due to reading the comments that it runs small. I do like the color. I have a Pearl Izumi long sleeve Thermal Jersey from 2019 that I still wear often. Its fabric has more stretch, so it seems looser, and it is size Small."

— Judith M. (4/5)

Size up by 2!

"Bought a XL b/c all of my short sleeved PI jerseys are L. Even validated it with the sizing chart (according to which my bust size sits well within). Well let me tell you, this XLS is tighter on me then the 3 sized Large short sleeved jerseys I own. It's a fine product but I do wish PI would get more consistency on their sizing or at least explain how their sizes fit vis-a-vis their other products."

Bike Jersey

"This is my third bike jersey from Pearl Izumi and i love them. The fabric breathes so you dont get too hot or too cold. The quality of the fabric is great, so they last a long time."

— Joanne B. (5/5)

Sized up 2 sizes and still too small

"I know Pearl Izumi runs small in their sizing. I had to go up 2 full sizes on this jacket and it is still too tight. I wish it had front pockets and a hood to go over the helmet for cold Winter days. Oh, well. I should have known better."

— Kristy G. (1/5)

If you have toddler arms. . .

"I'm not sure which is worse - the male customer rep that said 'you know this is a slim fit' or the actual fit of this jersey. I ordered the XXL to be on the safe side. I'm the low end of an XL and there's the shameful 'no return due to final sale policy. ' Well - it's more shame on me. Pearl Izumi has some weird 'ideal woman cyclist vision. ' If you have any sort of athletic build, especially your arms - run away from this jersey! This jersey is so small it's not even in the 'maybe one day my arms will be so small and weak I might be able to wear it' category. I'll stick to competitors that have realistic views of women's bodies and clothing fit."

Ran small.

"Fits tight"
