Materials & Care
Upper: 100% rubber/plastic | Bottom: 71% nylon plastic, 23% carbon fiber, 4% rubber, 2% steel
Wash with simple detergents without additives (Clear or Free). Wash gentle cycle. Close all zippers and hook and loop closures (“Velcro”). Tumble dry low (fabric should not be hot to the touch). When in doubt (or to save energy) hang dry. Do not use dryer sheets. Products with scents, softeners, etc. will inhibit performance of technical fabrics.

"I was apprehensive about buying shoes with thin wire laces and a locking knob but knowing the quality of PI items I did it. The shoes are excellent, but the wires are very thin and knob felt like cheap plastic. As anticipated, the wire broke after two years of lite riding. It was under warranty (that's good) but the site was down for almost a week. When it came up I found the process to be redundant and time consuming. There was an unreasonable constraint on photo size, the download file button didn't work on the web version (it worked fine from the phone) and whole process took over 30 minutes for me to complete. Like so many excellent companies, PI was purchased by private Equity in 2022 and the new owners seem to have driving the quality down."

"As soon as I slipped my foot in it i knew they'd be my favorite shoes. At first it is the comfort what I noticed. When I started pedaling it became obvious that they were going to improve my performance. I had the cleats and the positioning done by a professional and it definitely is a game changer."
