USE SIMPLE DETERGENTS WITH NO ADDITIVES Never use detergents with fabric softeners, perfumes or any additive type product. The general rule of thumb is the simpler the better. Many detergents with additives leave "surfactants" behind on a fabric's fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Typically the best detergents to use will have "Clear" or "Free" in their names. Don't pour the detergent directly onto the clothing, put it in the washer first, when you start the water. If something is not functionally working, but is not dirty, try rinsing it twice in warm to hot water. This will help get rid of the harmful surfactants. READ THE CONTENT CARE LABEL: On the inside of your garment, or on the hangcard, there are instructions for the care of that individual piece. On garments this will be on a side seam or back seam label. Follow those directions. On finer fabrics, use a "Gentle" cycle. Close all zippers, attach "hook and loop" closures on gloves YOU CAN USE THE DRYER, CAREFULLY: If you use a dryer be sure to use a lower / warm heat setting (Do NOT use a commercial dryer or a "Hot" setting). This will often restore the fabric and help the water and wind repellent qualities. If in doubt, hang the clothing to dry.

Disappointed that it's no longer a mesh fabric
"I own several of the previous caps that were made with the mesh fabric. I was disappointed to see that it is no longer available. I ordered (from Amazon) what I thought were the older, mesh, caps but what arrived are the newer ones with the "PRO Transfer fabric". Even on a not so warm day, my head feels warm. I also got sweatier without getting cooler. I suspect this could be an issue on cold days where I'll get sweaty and cold. Given how long my old hats lasted, I think the cap is overpriced as well but I like it for the protection from glare. The mesh is intact but the fabric on the brim (PRO Transfer fabric?) on all of my hats is wearing and getting holes for no reason. I'm not rubbing them on anything. Please bring back the old fabric cap."
Brim doesn't work for me
"I love the material. Love the fit. Seems to be excellent quality. But!! I was, and am, looking for a cat that has a brim that sticks out a little bit has a sun visor for early morning and sundown to glare protection. I guess I didn't look closely enough at the image of the item and assumed it would be more like cycling caps I've had in the past where the visor sticks out a little bit. On this cap the visor points straight down; it doesn't work as I needed to, at least under a helmet."
Good quality.
"Looks and fits great. Haven't worn it on a ride yet but based on how it fit it shall perform as intended. Protect one from the elements. Feels like good quality."
Wish I Had Bought Years Ago
"I finally picked one up on sale and my only regret is not having one years ago. The cap fits comfortably underneath my helmet and keeps the sweat out of my eyes. The flip up brim keeps the sun out of my eyes and looks less dorky than the do rag I've been using."
One hat fits all
"Looks fit and Size are Amazing really love the way it fits under my helmet and stops the sweat Great buy 👌🏼"
Very good!
"I was worried about it slipping around based on dry fit with my short hair. But on 72mi ride it didn’t shift at all. I sweat a LOT and it lasted about 35mi until my sweat started dripping off the brim. The visor was nice. Would flip down while riding because I hate the gap my sunglasses give to the Truckee sun, it always seems."
fits fine will be great
"fits fine will be great on low sun days - keeps the bugs out, keeps my head warm, great for sunny days."
You need this especially if you’re bald!
"I was skeptical about the need for this item until my helmet left so many unwanted tan lines on my head. I decided after reading other reviews that I’d give it a shot. Best decision ever! My head stayed cool through the entirety of my rides and didn’t leave a single tan/ sunburn. Another gainful benefit was that there were no salty sweat beads running down my forehead and I to my eyes!"
It’s ok
"The material for the cap feels ok. The fit is vey loose though"
Great Fit
"I'm new to cycling and up until now always thought these hats looked kinda goofy. I bought this to wear under my helmet and to help keep sweat out of my eyes and it works! Now I won't ride without one. I plan on buying another one as a spare."
