Women's Quest Barrier Jacket

Block windchill and light showers without overloading your kit—the Women’s Quest Barrier Jacket is a super-light wind shell designed to layer effortlessly. With a relaxed cut and extended sizing, it fits over jerseys and jackets with ease when the weather turns chilly.

Built from lightweight ripstop fabric rated at 5 CFM, this jacket protects you from wind while offering breathability and minimal bulk. Its PI Dry® C0 PFAS‑free water-repellent finish sheds light precipitation with ease.

A YKK® two‑way zipper allows for customizable ventilation and access to jersey pockets underneath. Dual hem cord locks offer an adjustable fit at the waist, ensuring a secure, sweat-blocking seal when the pace picks up.

Designed with visibility and sustainability in mind, the jacket includes BioViz® reflective elements visible up to 100 m and is made from recycled content—so you can ride confident and considerate.

Stash it easily in a jersey pocket or pack it in your seat bag—it’s your go-to cover layer when the ride calls for protection in unpredictable conditions.

Pair with lightweight women's cycling jerseys and cycling bibs—or layer over long sleeves when temps drop. Explore more of our women’s cycling jacket options for all-weather versatility.

Materials & Care

USE SIMPLE DETERGENTS WITH NO ADDITIVES Never use detergents with fabric softeners, perfumes or any additive type product. The general rule of thumb is the simpler the better. Many detergents with additives leave "surfactants" behind on a fabric's fibers that inhibit the technical performance. Typically the best detergents to use will have "Clear" or "Free" in their names. Don't pour the detergent directly onto the clothing, put it in the washer first, when you start the water. If something is not functionally working, but is not dirty, try rinsing it twice in warm to hot water. This will help get rid of the harmful surfactants. READ THE CONTENT CARE LABEL: On the inside of your garment, or on the hangcard, there are instructions for the care of that individual piece. On garments this will be on a side seam or back seam label. Follow those directions. On finer fabrics, use a "Gentle" cycle. Close all zippers, attach "hook and loop" closures on gloves YOU CAN USE THE DRYER, CAREFULLY: If you use a dryer be sure to use a lower / warm heat setting (Do NOT use a commercial dryer or a "Hot" setting). This will often restore the fabric and help the water and wind repellent qualities. If in doubt, hang the clothing to dry.
