The Flow meets the needs of riders who want a shoe that performs well on the bike and can handle a season of abuse. Wide-set lacing allows a very adjustable fit and a lace lock keeps your shoestrings away from your drivetrain. The secret to this shoe’s success is the grippy performance rubber compound combined with our chevron-shaped PinLoc™ tread pattern to keep your feet firmly planted and in control.
The X-Alp Summit is a great shoe for all-day mountain bike adventures. Fully redesigned from the ground-up, the X-Alp Summit shoe receives trickle-down technology from our flagship X-Elevate trail shoe, including a Nylon composite sole that balances pedaling efficiency with walkability and a Grippy Vibram ECOSTEP rubber outsole that will help you navigate the gnarliest hike-a-bike sections. An L6 BOA® Fit System works alongside the Velcro toe strap to provide a comfortable, secure fit. The synthetic leather upper features a plethora of perforations to improve ventilation and allow your feet to dry out after creek crossings. Mountain biking can be rough work, so we reinforced the toe box to ward off rock strikes.
If you find yourself digging dirt jumps or railing loose and loamy trails, a bit of extra ankle protection can be a great thing. That’s why we made the Launch Mid WRX. This mid-top flat pedal shoe is constructed on the same platform as the Launch Flat, with added ankle and heel protection and a gusseted tongue to keep out dirt and debris. Because trail conditions can be highly variable, the Launch Mid WRX uses a water-repellent membrane to keep the elements at bay. Laces can be a hassle when covered in mud and grime so the Launch Mid WRX relies on a BOA® Fit System to make fit adjustments a breeze. The rubber experts at Goodyear® developed a compound that is sticky and long-wearing, which we mold into our chevron-shaped PinLoc Outsole® tread to keep your feet planted and in control even in slippery conditions.
When it came time to develop our ultralight road shoe, we weren’t willing to sacrifice stiffness or comfort in the pursuit of weight savings. Weighing in at a feathery 150-grams for a size 42, the Pro Air is the lightest shoe we’ve ever produced and we did it without cutting corners. We joined forces with the carbon experts at Ruckus Composites to develop a revolutionary new carbon sole design that is 20-percent lighter than the impressively light Pro Road V5 sole without sacrificing stiffness. We weren’t willing to compromise durability or comfort either, so the Pro Air uses a mesh laminate upper with zonal construction to reinforce critical areas while shedding weight from regions where it isn’t needed. Despite the paltry gram count, the Pro Air is still fully-featured with a replaceable insole and lace keeper to keep the laces securely in place.
A great shoe for gravel riding needs attributes of both road and mountain shoes. Equally at home on gravel, XC trails or all-day adventures. We borrowed technology from our X-Project so that neither walkability or pedaling stiffness suffer. Then cut the upper from a durable 1-piece synthetic leather and added perforations to let feet breathe. A single L6 BOA closure provides equal pressure across the instep. Extra toe protection helps with errant stones and any extended or uphill hikes. A short EVA insert at the heel provides noticeable vibration damping to reduce fatigue on longer rides over rough roads.
The first flat pedal shoe designed to handle the abuse of all-mountain riding to give you the confidence, control and comfort you need for all-day riding. This extremely lightweight shoe uses a premium dual compound Vibram® Megagrip sole for instant pedal engagement combined with long wearing rubber at the toe and heel. Seamless bonded upper construction delivers unmatched comfort and lightweight durability for hours of riding.
